Global Academy Australia
School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs) are for students enrolled in an Australian Secondary College who are over 15 years of age. An SBAT offers students the option of combining a senior secondary program with part-time employment, school and training. The program is undertaken under a Training Contract with an employer and has a training plan registered with the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA).
The training must lead to a nationally recognised qualification. GAA must have the school’s authority and Parent/Guardian Consent to be able to sign up any students. Currently all GAA SBAT courses are structured to cater for school students with disability and learning difficulties.
