Supply Chain Logistics is growing in Australia and the need for skilled logistics staff increases every day.

A Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations will give you the basic skills and knowledge you need to work effectively in a range of warehouse environments. You will develop an understanding of chain of responsibility, safe work practices and receival, storage and despatch operations.

Qualification Description

This is a general qualification for the Logisitcs and Storage Industry.

It involves a range of tasks involving known routines and procedures, and taking some accountability for the quality of work outcomes.

No licensing legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Pre-requisites and Entry Requirements

Must be enrolled in an Australian School, atleast 15 years of age and working towards completing a secondary school qualification for the duration of the program. Please note that School Must approve of the program and also Parent/Guardian Consent is required for anyone under 18 years of age.

Must have a permanent disability as program is tailored to kids with special needs, this needs to be signed off by a registered medical practitioner.

Not available to International Students or anyone who is note enrolled in an Australian Secondary College.

Duration

This course is delivers on-the-job as a traineeship and has a typical duration of 12 months. Some students may be allowed up to 2 years to complete the course depending on individual circumstance.
